Dan Hjorth is an acclaimed Danish pianist, composer, and improviser based in Aarhus, Denmark. He is part of the orchestras Fantasilaboratoriet, Jacob D's Tukaan and Drømmesyn. Additionally, he leads his trio DAMA DAMA, who recently released their debut album.
Hjorth has performed music for solo piano for the art installation "OVERGANG" at Museum Ovartaci and has had his music performed by the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.
He has been praised by Gaffa as a "virtuosic piano talent" and has recently been admitted to the conservatory's prestigious soloist program on The Royal Academy of Music, where he will unveil more musical projects in the coming years.
